This is a critical time in the shift to a sustainable transport sector in Europe and electric vehicles (EVs) will play a central role. With the EU Green Deal and increasing demand for EVs across Europe, we have come together to advocate for policies that support investment, remove market barriers and facilitate the smooth uptake of electric vehicles and a seamless driver experience for European citizens.

We work with EU decision makers and stakeholders to identify the policies and investments needed to facilitate the scale and volume of electric vehicles expected to come onto the EU market.

We act as a centre of expertise for the sector with the aim to educate and inform policy makers, stakeholders and the general public about the important role of EVs and the related infrastructure for achieving zero-emission transportation.

ChargeUp Europe also counts with the expertise of our knowledge and eco-system partners, find out more about them here.

An Open Letter from Europe's EV Charge Point Operators

21 CPOs across Europe, consisting of ChargeUp Members and more, have signed an open letter to propose five criteria benchmarking state-of-the-art permitting processes that would harmonise and standardise the process of getting a grid connection in Europe.
